What is a Chapter?

What is a Future Foundation Chapter?

A Future Foundation chapter is a student-led team that runs programs for underprivileged children in your area.

What You'll Get:
- Full autonomy to choose your initiatives (STEM workshops, tutoring, financial literacy, school supply drives)
- The Future Foundation brand and credibility
- Your own page on our website to showcase your work
- Access to program templates and resources
- Connection to a national network of student leaders

What You're Responsible For:
- Running programs in your community
- Recruiting and managing volunteers
- Partnering with local organizations (Boys & Girls Clubs, schools, libraries, community centers)
- Documenting your impact and reporting monthly
- Representing The Future Foundation's mission

Examples of what chapters can do do:
- Future Finance Club (Bradenton, FL) - Investment education, business ventures, financial literacy workshops
- Connecticut Chapter - Monthly STEM events, school supply drives

Fundraising & Financial autonomy

Your Chapter, Your Funding — With Accountability

You have full control over fundraising and how funds are used, with transparency requirements.

How to Fundraise:
- Host events (bake sales, car washes, fundraising dinners)
- Seek sponsorships from local businesses
- Apply for small grants from community foundations
- Crowdfunding campaigns
- Donation drives

How to Use Funds:
- Donate to The Future Foundation's central fund to support national operations
- Spend directly on your local programs (supplies, event costs, community support)
- Or split between both - it's your choice

Monthly Reporting Requirements:
Email andy.zhong@thefuturefoundation.online by the 5th of each month with:

1. Financial Report:
   • Exact dollar amount raised this month
   • Sources of funds (events, donations, grants, etc.)
   • How funds were used (program expenses, donations to central fund, etc.)

2. Photo Documentation:
   • Photos of your initiatives and events
   • Location where programs were executed (clearly visible)
   • Date of event/program (include in photo or caption)
   • Students/volunteers in action
   • Children being served (if permission allows)

This documentation provides proof of impact and keeps our network transparent and accountable.

Contributing to Central Fund(optional)

Supporting the National Movement (Optional)

Chapters can choose to donate part or all of their fundraising to The Future Foundation's central fund to support national operations, help other chapters, and expand our mission.
